Project Overviewx
Evergreen Park High School included its roof as part of a major building renovation for its science wing. The Ridgeworth team removed 40,000 square feet of failed roof system and installed a temporary roof to allow for the mechanical upgrade work within the building. They removed sections of the adjoining masonry wall to allow for the installation of a new through-wall flashing. They installed new wood blocking to accommodate the thickness of the new insulation, and worked closely with the onsite mechanical contractor to complete roof deck openings and the infill of obsolete openings in the existing roof deck. The team installed a Garland Multi-Ply modified bitumen roof system and fabricated and installed new roof-related architectural sheet metal. They then installed a highly reflective white roof coating over the entire new roof system and installed on a low roof a small section of garden roofing for both energy savings and student use.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
