School was in session when Ridgeworth Roofing installed an approximately 14,000-square-foot roofing system on the Mannheim Early Childhood Center, a new-construction addition to District 83’s Westdale School. The installation included new insulation to meet code requirements, a fully adhered Carlisle FleeceBACK EDPM roofing system, and daylighting translucent canopies over the facility’s two entrances. Given the jobsite’s proximity to the Westdale School playground, the Ridgeworth team coordinated with school administration to avoid particular areas of the property while children were present. Logistics such as crane access and moving tools to the roof required additional consideration, and Ridgeworth utilized an abundance of safety precautions.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
